About This Product

The slippers for transporting workpieces have an upper jig/lower jig structure and can handle a wide variety of products by replacing only the upper jig. In addition, the use of injection molded resin pins prevents damage to the workpiece. Furthermore, the entire jig can be manufactured using a 3D printer, making it lightweight and capable of short delivery times. Development concept/product concept

■Current situation and issues

・With existing slippers, it is necessary to remake the transport slippers every time the product type is changed, resulting in high costs. ・Since the workpiece receiving surface of the slippers is made of hard materials such as MC nylon or iron, chips can get caught and damage the workpiece. ・Also, since MC nylon is hard, chips get stuck in it and the yield of the line deteriorates.

■Development points

- By separating the upper and lower jigs of the "Workpiece Transfer Slipper", it is possible to replace only the upper jig when changing product types, reducing investment costs. ・The receiving surface is made of resin using unique injection molding technology to prevent damage to the workpiece.
