■Current situation and issues
Conventionally, in processing and measuring gears, it has been difficult to accurately measure the workpiece, and adjusting the centering of the workpiece takes time and requires the skills of a skilled worker. There is a need for a stable, high-precision clamping jig that is easy to operate and is less prone to individual differences.
■Development points
``Mandrel'' allows operation with a single wrench, greatly reducing centering man-hours. In addition, it achieves runout accuracy with little variation no matter who operates it, and can be used with a wide variety of products thanks to collet exchange and a wide range of expansion diameters.
