About This Product

■High class image quality and operability

inspeXio SMX-225CT FPD HR Plus is a high-performance microfocus X-ray CT system equipped with an in-house microfocus X-ray generator and a large high-resolution flat panel detector. With a vast detection area, an input resolution equivalent to up to 14 million pixels, and a further improved high-power microfocus X-ray generator, it overturns the common sense that ``high-power devices cannot obtain the contrast of soft materials.'' It is possible to obtain cross-sectional images with a wide field of view, high resolution, and high contrast. In addition, in line with the improvement in detector resolution, we have also realized further speed-up of the ultra-high-speed processing system HPCinspeXio. One machine can handle the research, development, and inspection of all kinds of workpieces, from composite materials (GFRP, CFRTP) that are undergoing advanced research to large aluminum die-cast products.

■High Resolution CT Image

Equipped with a large high resolution flat panel detector. With an input resolution equivalent to up to 14 million pixels, a wide field of view and high resolution are achieved.

■High Contrast CT Image

The X-ray dose has been significantly increased by improving the in-house micro focus X-ray generator. By taking advantage of the sensitivity characteristics of the latest flat panel detector, we have achieved unprecedented combination of high output and high contrast images.

■Easy and Fast CT Scan

In addition to the new function ``Automated CT'' that frees the operator from complicated condition settings, it is also equipped with HPCinspeXio ver. 3.0, an ultra-high-speed processing system that achieves 50 times faster speed. Anyone can easily perform high-speed CT imaging.

■System configuration and principle

The object to be inspected (workpiece) is installed between the X-ray generator and the X-ray detector as shown in the figure below. It rotates 360° to collect X-ray transmission data from all angles and calculates cross-sectional images.

■Original features

Longer filament life: The filament current value is automatically adjusted to extend the expected filament life by 2.5 times.

■Ultra high-speed calculation processing system

・For image size 512 x 512: 5 to 10 seconds from the end of data collection ・For image size 1024 x 1024: 5 to 10 seconds from the end of data collection
