About This Product

A room-temperature glass coating agent that forms a hard glass film on various substrates by using a mixture of two types: a base agent and a catalyst (heatless glass). There are several types of this product depending on the purpose. In the world, there are many "similar products" called glass coating agents, liquid glass, and water glass, but our company's SIRAGUSITAL-B4373 is a coating agent that becomes a "real" "glass film." *SIRAGUSITAL is pronounced as "Shiragushitar". Glass products that have a silicon dioxide (SiO2) skeleton (former ions) and incorporate various metal ions as oxides (modified ions) are widely used in our daily lives. Various containers, lighting, display products, optical glass, colored glass, craft glass, solder glass, Application products such as crystallized glass, voltage-resistant and insulating glass, etc. are used in our daily lives. However, in general, glass is a material that can only be molded if it is melted at high temperatures, and conversely, the fact that it must be melted at high temperatures is the limit in the development of glass applications. Therefore, in order to solve these problems, we created a coating agent (heatless glass product name: SIRAGUSITAL-B4373) that forms an inorganic glass film at room temperature.

■Features of SIRAGUSITAL-B4373 (heatless glass)

SIRAGUSITAL-B4373 (heatless glass) is a type of solution that mixes two liquids: a base agent and a catalyst. The biggest feature of SIRAGUSITAL-B4373 is that a glassy film is generated at room temperature. Moreover, the film quality is inorganic, which means that the properties inherent to glass are directly reproduced as the properties of the film. The hardness of the glass film depends on the base material, but it has a pencil hardness of 3H to 9H, making it a very hard coating.
