Easily evaluate thin film samples that are difficult to measure using the flash method. This is a device that measures the thermal diffusivity in the thickness direction of solids such as film polymers, paper, and ceramics using the AC Joule heating method. By making the measurement range exclusive to room temperature, which is in high demand, we have achieved a compact body and low price.

・Compared to the flash method, the sample thickness limit is less than half, making it ideal for evaluating thermophysical properties of thin polymer materials.
・For polyimide samples, 10μm to 200μm
・The detection area is wide so that measurements can be made on the surface of the sample, so measurement reproducibility is high.
・Power saving (AC 100V 15A, excluding PC)
・The installation area is about A3 size (FTC-RT), less than half that of Advance Riko's previous model (FTC-1).
