The Leica MZ10 F is a powerful screening tool for researchers. With a zoom ratio of 10:1, the total magnification ranges from 10x to 80x when combined with the standard Planapo 1x objective. Furthermore, the optical performance with a maximum resolution of 375 Lp/mm is ideal for screening. Its applications are not limited to fluorescence observation, but can also be used for bright field observation by combining fallen-angle and transmitted illumination. It demonstrates its capabilities in all kinds of screening observations such as fruit flies, nematodes, zebrafish, and plants.
■Triple optical path near vertical system unique to Leica
Like high-end Leica fluorescence stereomicroscopes, it is equipped with a dedicated optical path for excitation light that is independent of the observation optical path. (TripleBeamTM optical path: patented technology). Achieves outstanding back clearance, which is important in fluorescence observation. In addition, the excitation light is quasi-coaxial and irradiated backwards, reducing glare to the eyes and emphasizing the three-dimensional effect.
