About This Product
We have adopted a line sensor method, which has an advantage over the area sensor method in terms of the number of pixels in the horizontal direction. This is a high-performance camera that digitally processes images and detects accurate positions as a digital camera for strip edge/center position detection.
■Features
Strip edge detection using a CCD camera is performed by the CCD camera detecting changes in the amount of light from the light source. The point where the light intensity changes (minimum or maximum value) is regarded as a strip edge, and that information is immediately sent to the controller, where it is quantified and processed as digital data. Data is transmitted from the controller via a digital fieldbus connection. The lens focal length used is 28mm to 50mm.
