About This Product

■Summary

The Hallite 780 double-acting piston seal is a rugged five-part design. Particularly suitable for one-piece pistons in medium-duty applications. This seal is also suitable for 2-piece pistons. Hallite780 consists of a nitrile rubber seal, two split support rings and two split L-shaped wear rings on either side of the seal. The nitrile rubber seal has excellent wear resistance, and the multi-lip design is designed to efficiently perform dynamic sealing while minimizing friction at low pressures. When pressurized, the support ring extends to protect the lip from protrusion and damage. Masu. The support ring is manufactured from tough, flexible, abrasion-resistant thermoplastic polyester elastomer (TPE) and scarf-cut for assembly. Both the L-shaped wear ring and the support ring are grooved to ensure fluid pressure is properly applied to the sealing element and prevents the possibility of pressure buildup within the seal assembly.
