About This Product

■Summary

Hallite's JBR is a spring load type single pressure piston seal that is compatible with the P groove of JIS B2401. It has a U-shaped seal jacket with a built-in V-shaped metal spring. When there is no load or low pressure, the necessary spring load is applied to the seal lip to create the appropriate contact surface pressure. As the working pressure increases, the U-shaped area receives system pressure and affects sealing performance at high pressure. The standard material is a high-performance seal jacket material with PTFE as the base material. It exhibits low friction against almost all mating surfaces, thereby eliminating the stick-slip phenomenon. The seal lip uses a tandem lip design for excellent sealing performance and long life. Additionally, metal springs have excellent chemical resistance and can withstand a wide temperature range, maintaining spring load for a long period of time.
