■Summary

Hallite's SSP is a double-acting O-ring combination rotating swivel seal designed to seal the outside diameter of shafts, bores, swivels, and other rotating or oscillating applications. SSP rotary seals have one or two grooves machined on the outer circumferential surface of the seal, increasing the seal lip to improve sealing performance, and retaining lubricating oil to reduce surface contact area and reduce sliding friction. have. The O-ring provides interference to the seal ring and generates a radial clamping force. It is also responsible for the static sealing of the housing. Hallite's SSP rotary seal has a special design with a fan-shaped inner diameter that maximizes the contact area of ​​the O-ring against the inner circumference of the sealing face and minimizes the possibility of the seal rotating with the housing in the groove. Masu. The standard seal side of the SSP has a pressure notch that makes the seal very responsive to pressure changes. Made from proprietary Hallite Armorlene® H82 or HCF PTFE material, SSP rotating seals are energy efficient due to their low friction properties, eliminating the possibility of sticking during start-up. High performance Armorlene® materials like 711 provide excellent wear resistance and support a wide range of temperature and media compatibility. Armorlene® SSP and SSR rotating swivel seals are designed for low speed rotating and swivel applications.
