About This Product

■Summary

Hallite's SSR is a double-acting O-ring combination rotating swivel seal designed to seal the inside diameter of shafts, bores, swivels, and other rotating or oscillating applications. SSR rotary seals have one or two grooves machined on the inner circumferential surface of the seal, increasing the seal lip to improve sealing performance, and retaining lubricating oil to reduce surface contact area and reduce sliding friction. I have The O-ring provides interference to the sealing ring and generates a radial force. It is also responsible for the static sealing of the housing. Hallite's SSR rotating seal has a special design with a fan-shaped outer diameter that maximizes the contact area of ​​the O-ring against the outer circumference of the sealing face and minimizes the possibility of the seal rotating with the shaft in the groove. Masu. A standard SSR seal has a pressure notch on the side that makes the seal very responsive to pressure changes. SSR rotating seal made from proprietary Hallite Armorlene® H82 or HCF PTFE material, low friction properties make it energy efficient and eliminate the possibility of sticking during startup. High performance Armorlene® materials like 711 provide excellent wear resistance and support a wide range of temperature and media compatibility. SSR rotating swivel seals are designed for low speed rotating and swivel applications.
