About This Product
Plasman mini is an ultra-compact SPS device specialized for producing small-sized sintered bodies. ~ By making it exclusively for φ10mm, we have achieved miniaturization and low cost. The temperature can be raised to approximately 1,000℃ in about 5 minutes, and cooling to room temperature is also short, making sintering possible in a short time.
It can be used immediately by simply connecting the power supply and cooling water hose.
■Uniquely developed power supply for energized thermal processing
Equipped with an inverter power supply. In addition to the conventional constant current control, constant voltage control can also be selected. The compact power supply enables an all-in-one design of the device. With a maximum current of 300A, it is possible to heat a φ10 sample to 1,000℃ in 5 minutes.
■Pressure mechanism with excellent control performance
Since a hand press is used as the pressure mechanism, the strength of the load can be finely adjusted by pressing the hand. The press drive uses a double-acting cylinder. The use of a large pressure gauge increases the visibility of pressure values. The amount of press movement can be confirmed in 10μm increments using a displacement meter. Since the upper electrode moves due to the press drive, the graphite mold for sintering set on the lower electrode side is less likely to tip over.
■Free and customized experimental style
Since all sintering parameters are manually controlled, it is possible to change the temperature, heating/cooling rate, pressing force, holding time, etc. according to the sintering situation. This allows trainees to conduct research and development while feeling with their hands the hardness and softness of materials depending on the heating temperature.
■Short time process
It has an electrical heating mechanism that enables high-speed temperature rise of ~500℃/min, and is also characterized by rapid temperature drop due to the high cooling capacity from the upper and lower electrodes. Therefore, it is possible to process in a shorter time than conventional methods such as HP, HIP, and pressureless sintering. Achieves speedy sample preparation for microstructure sintering and new material research and development.
