About This Product

Microd is a synthetic silica (gel type silica) crushed by micron size. feature • porous ･ Wide surface area In the gel, the primary particles of NM units are tied over time (whitexan bonding), and the three -dimensional lattice crystal structure is due. Utilizing the above features, we use it for customer's products in various fields such as paint / ink, film, special paper, food additives. It is manufactured by KD Corporation and is exported around the world. Physical characteristics ･ White powder ･ Tasteless and odorless • porous ･ Inconvenient crystal / true gravity 2.15 ･ Light refractive index 1.46 Chemical characteristics ･ Chemical composition SIO2 99WT % or higher ･ Chemical inactivity Use ･ Applied to paint It has been applied to various paint as a glossy and an increase in the adverse. If the microd is added, a small uneven surface is generated when the coating is cured and contracts, and the incident light causes a rebellion and exerts an elegant shiny effect. Furthermore, it can adjust the viscosity and the chicksotropy, and the paint efficiency is improved. We also have a surface coating grade to improve distributing and re -distributing. ･ Applied to plastic film It is used in various plastic films such as polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), polyester (PET), polyester (PVC), etc. as anti -blocking agents and slip agents. Since the microd refractive index (1.46) is almost equivalent to the refractive index of plastic resin, it can be effective while maintaining the transparency of the film. Please select a compatible grade in consideration of compatibility with various film characteristics (anti -blocking, slip, transparency, distribution, film hardness, etc.) and plastic resin. ･ Application as a food additive It can be used as an anti -fixing agent for powdered foods (silicon dioxide) (additive amount 2 % or less). By adding a small amount, it can maintain a fluid state and can be used as a carrier for food fragrances. Because it is toxic and chemical, it is extremely safe and does not affect the human body. Maximum use: 2.0 % as silicon dioxide dioxide Use criteria: Do not use for breast milk alternative products and baby food.
