About This Product

High-frequency induction heating is a method that uses electromagnetic induction to heat metal by causing it to self-generate. Used for press-fitting nuts, bolts, and screws into plastic parts and heating metal parts. Unlike the heater method, it generates heat instantly and does not require preheating. Nippon Avionics' high-frequency induction heating device UI series is a compact and lightweight type with an air-cooled design. Easy to integrate into automatic machines.

■Features

・Can heat not only steel but also brass, which is a non-magnetic metal. ・Suitable for workpieces with a diameter of Φ4 to 30 mm ・Unlike heater methods, it generates heat instantly, eliminating the need for preheating time, contributing to reduced power consumption and prevention of metal parts modification. ・Achieved smaller size and lighter weight through integrated high-efficiency design ・The heating coil uses small diameter copper wire and copper pipe that can be easily wound. ・The connection between the coil and matching box is a Litz wire, making it easy to connect to automatic machines. ・By combining with a non-contact infrared temperature sensor, precision machining production that minimizes variations in torque strength and pull-out strength is possible.

■Nut press fit

・Metal nets and bolts are heated by electromagnetic induction and press-fitted into resin products. - Metal parts can be heated and expanded, and press-fit parts can be press-fitted.

■Let it melt

・Make the hole diameter of the plastic molded product 0.3 to 0.6 mm smaller than the workpiece. ・A screw guide and escape hole for melted resin are required.
