About This Product

Type TSR self-aligning roller thrust bearings are designed to achieve high thrust capacity with low friction and continuous roller arrangement. This bearing type is suitable for operating conditions where heavy loads, housing alignment is difficult to establish or maintain, or where shaft runout is experienced.

■Design characteristics

- Spherical contour rollers are placed at steep angle positions to accommodate high thrust loads and support moderate radial loads. - Bearing geometry and manufacturing techniques result in low bearing friction. - Internal self-adjustment of the bearing elements during operation compensates for shaft runout and housing distortion caused by shocks or large loads. - TSR's inherent misalignment compensation provides equipment designers with the opportunity to use welded housing frames rather than complex monolithic castings. This reduces manufacturing costs. Placement is less important when a cast part is desired and self-aligning thrust bearings are specified. - 'E' style uses improved bearing geometry and improved lubrication properties to allow higher dynamic load ratings.
