About This Product

■Summary

Vibrex® is a linear ultrasonic motor that uses piezoelectric elements. A piezoelectric element generates ultrasonic vibrations that drive a moving object (rotor or slider) through frictional force. Vibrex® is a registered trademark of the ultrasonic motor developed by our company. Features

■Accurate minute movements

It has excellent responsiveness and can perform positioning operations down to a minimum of 20 nm. (When using USMA-30 and controlling our driver) We are good at precise positioning of microscope stages, etc.

■Not affected by magnetism

Vibrex® is a motor that is driven by frictional force, so it does not use magnetism like electromagnetic motors. It can also be used in medical equipment such as MRI that is used in strong magnetic field environments.

■Small, lightweight, low speed, high torque

Vibrex® uses our unique operating principle and does not require a reduction gear for low speed operation. Therefore, although it is a small and lightweight motor, it has low speed and high torque characteristics. Because it does not require a reduction gear, it is quiet with no gear noise.

■Has holding torque when not energized

The friction drive system allows it to maintain its position even when the power is turned off.
