About This Product

■Summary

Thick film printed circuit boards are circuit boards in which metal conductors, resistors, overcoat glass, etc. are printed on our ceramic substrates. There are also via-filled boards in which the through-holes are filled with silver-based metal conductors. Since we use our own board for the base board, we are able to perform integrated production from design to shipping.

■Lineup

・Substrate: 96% alumina, Alza® ・Metal conductor: AgPt, AgPd, Cu, Au *RoHSⅡ compliant materials are also available.

■Features

・Since our alumina substrate is used as the core base material, it has excellent not only thermal conductivity but also reflectance and high insulation properties. It supports pattern formation on a wide range of substrate sizes, from small to large. Ideal for automotive applications and heater-related applications where heat dissipation effects are required. It is possible to form fine patterns suitable for high-density wiring. By filling the vias in a via-filled board, a pad-on-via can be formed on the component mounting land, allowing for compact, high-density wiring. ・Via filled parts can be used as thermal vias in COB (chip on board) mounting and surface mount components that require heat dissipation. ・Resistance elements can be formed, and resistance tolerances can be adjusted from ±1% by trimming. Since the resistor can be formed as a film on the substrate, the number of mounted parts can be reduced, making it possible to achieve smaller size and higher density. Additionally, the desired resistance value can be achieved by trimming.
