About This Product

■Applications The press forming analysis system ARGUS supports material identification and mold optimization in the press forming process. This is a decisive factor for competitiveness, especially in the automotive industry. ARGUS is the ideal solution for solving complex forming problems in many press operations, such as measuring forming limit diagrams (FLD) on a surface-by-surface basis, optimizing forming processes and molds, and validating numerical simulations. ■Advantages Full-field numerical molding simulation verification results can be obtained. ARGUS uses traditional, proven forming analysis methods based on blank materials. The ARGUS system is material independent and can be used to analyze common flat blanks as well as parts manufactured by cylindrical pipes, hydroforming IHPF (Internal High Pressure Forming) processes, etc. ■Features All results are represented by a generated high-resolution 3D mesh that displays the surface of the measured object. You can compare and evaluate the material properties of the blank material (forming limit curve) and the measured forming limit diagram (FLD). ■Technology The specimens are evaluated using ARGUS software using high-resolution images. Calculate the plate thickness reduction rate of press forming according to the law of constant volume from the measured 3D coordinates. Shape deformations are displayed as a pseudo-colored 3D mesh, and the labels created represent measurements of surface points.
