About This Product
■Latest spectrophotometer series
・Measure nitrite with a portable digital spectrophotometer (0-150 mg/L)
・Special reagents used for measurement can be selected according to the measurement frequency. This instrument also allows numerical verification and calibration of the main unit using a validator (standard solution set). This ensures high accuracy and reliability.
■This device is a powered-up model of the conventional HI 96708, and its performance has been improved as follows.
・Advanced optical system with beam splitter improves reproducibility and stability
- Light source changed from conventional tungsten lamp to LED. Demonstrates excellent performance
・Navigation function for measurement procedures
・Remaining battery power (%) is always displayed on the screen
・Time setting possible (year, month, day and time)
・Equipped with backlight function for easier viewing
■Applications
Organic nitrogen compounds are created during the decomposition process in water and soil, which originate from the use of inorganic fertilizers, decaying plants and animals, domestic wastewater, above-ground disposal of sewage sludge, and industrial wastewater. Nitrogen compounds also include nitrite ions, and their forms change due to the action of bacteria. Nitrite is harmful to aquatic life even at low concentrations, so it is closely monitored in aquaculture facilities.
On the other hand, in cooling towers, an appropriate amount of nitrous acid is necessary to prevent corrosion. At high concentrations, nitrite is harmful to the environment and humans. Therefore, domestic water supplies, as well as lakes and ponds, are usually monitored for confirmation. Often used as nitrogen fertilizer and food preservative
■Hannah's unique verification and proofreading functions
By using Hanna's original validator (standard solution set), it is possible to verify whether the values are within the standard values and calibrate if they are outside the acceptable range. (Calibration is a function that corrects discrepancies in numerical values on the main unit.) Since it can be performed by the customer at any time, high accuracy and reliability can always be maintained.
■Advanced optical system
Adopts an advanced optical system that incorporates the same beam splitter as the HI 833 series of multi-spec tabletop absorption photometers. Increases reproducibility and stability
■Waterproof & data storage
The main body case has a waterproof function of IP67, and the glass cell insertion part also uses a plastic holder. Compared to the conventional HI 96 series, it has improved waterproofness and durability for peace of mind. You can rest assured that up to 50 measured values are automatically saved. You can clearly see the measurement date and time using the details button.
■Easy to use compact size
The width is 142mm, making it more compact than the conventional HI 96 series.
