About This Product

■Features

・UHV version supports up to 10-9 Torr, Vacuum version supports up to 10-6 Torr - 1/2 inch, 1 inch and 2 inch travel distance, rotary action type, European mount type available ・Excellent long-term stability: Reliably holds the set position New Focus' vacuum-compatible and ultra-high vacuum-compatible Picomotor actuators have short Teflon®-coated leads for connection to the feedthrough of a vacuum chamber. However, for use in X-ray or other high radiation applications, we recommend ordering a custom version with a Kapton® coated extension wire. Although Teflon can be used in high vacuum environments, it is not suitable for use in high radiation applications such as those exposed to repeated exposure to X-rays. If used in such an environment, it may deteriorate and peel off, resulting in an electrical short circuit.
