A flat structure with a height of 54mm except the motor. In addition, since the Y -axis motor does not overhang, and the cable bear does not require because the cable does not move, the largest working space can be secured in the minimum installation space.

The X -Y axis is integrated. Compared to the gantoli that combines the conventional single axis, the number of parts is smaller, and the main constitution has been significantly lighter. Contributes to the weight reduction of the device.

Since the two motors do not move during the X-Y operation, there is no mechanical stress on the cable. Therefore, it is unnecessary to use a movable cable or cable bear, contributing to the cost reduction.

The mechanical absolute sensor "ABZO (Abzo) Sensor" mounted in the αSTEP AZ series can always manage position information, so you can reduce the external sensor required for the starting point of return. This contributes not only to parts cost and wiring time, but also to reduce the problems caused by sensors such as disconnection and false detection.

Operating principle
A new structural gantry mechanism that links the X -Y axis with one belt. The combination of the rotation direction of the two motors determines the movement direction of x -y. When moving in the X direction, rotate the two motors in the opposite direction, and rotate the two motors in the same direction when moving in the Y direction. If only one motor is rotated, it will operate diagonally 45 °.
