■Characteristics of thin plate fence materials
If you use decking material with a thickness of 20mm for the fence, it will be too voluminous, resulting in a heavy-looking design. A thickness of 15mm gives a clean finish and creates a light feel. Since the volume of wood is reduced, it is also possible to reduce costs.
■Characteristics of straight-grain sawn wood
- The plate material is less likely to deform, and is less likely to warp in either the width or length direction.
- Best used as a deck space outdoors where the environment changes significantly.
