■GCxGC equipped with FID and boasts high separation performance
LECO's QuadJet SD combines the sensitivity of a flame ionization detector (FID) or other fast single-channel detector (NCD, ECD, SCD) with the chromatographic resolution of comprehensive two-dimensional gas chromatography (GCxGC). By combining these methods, components in a sample can be measured more accurately than normal single GC analysis. No other system reduces noise and detection errors like the QuadJet SD.

・Enhanced separation power for complex sample analysis
In GC-FID analysis, quantification is often performed using the peak area of the chromatogram, but actual samples usually contain many components. Therefore, co-elution inflates the FID signal, resulting in an error. GCxGC maintains the accuracy of FID measurements by using two types of columns for separation.
・Improved sensitivity with proprietary thermal modulator
LECO's thermal modulator enables on-column cryofocusing within GCxGC, increasing detection sensitivity and separation of co-eluting components. As a result, the S/N ratio improves by an order of magnitude.

ChromaTOF software is a software package that seamlessly performs everything from data acquisition to analysis in GCxGC analysis. Easily analyze even the most demanding samples, increasing component identification and laboratory productivity
・Classification function useful for compound identification
The structured chromatogram obtained by GCxGC analysis allows you to specify areas and group compounds based on their chemical structure. You can also perform between-group comparisons, exclude specified groups, or apply grouping to other samples to perform between-sample comparisons.
