About This Product

■BK Micro

This is a product brand of SCUIBERT SYSTEM ELEKTONIK (Germany). For reliable tool breakage detection, we are particular about the contact type, and all scanners are equipped with servo motors and encoders, allowing us to handle tools with extremely small diameters. The controller also has a fieldbus connection type and is compatible with IoT. We have multiple controllers and various scanners available depending on the installed machine and the tool to be detected. Mainly divided into 1. lathe type and 2. machining center type.

■Lathe type (Basic type)

This type inspects one or two tools from the side. The target tool is memorized by teaching, and the tool is inspected to ensure that it is within the preset tolerance from the memorized angular position. To minimize measurement time and accommodate even the smallest diameter tools, the scanner rotates at maximum speed, decelerates 10° before the target tool position, makes gentle contact, and returns to the park position again at maximum speed. For settings, we have implemented a new "button/parameter set function" that allows you to set only basic functions without using a PC. If complex settings and diagnosis are required, connect a PC with free software installed.

■System configuration

The system consists of a scanner with a wand, a control unit and a connecting cable. The cable can be selected from 5/7/10/15m using a special twisted cable.
