Series 106 is a dry hydraulically actuated clutch/brake developed for continuous operation press machines based on dry clutch/brake unit Series 406. Hydraulic operation allows for higher torque than pneumatic operation. Since a dry lining is used, there is no entrained heat that occurs in wet units.
