■Linear motion lock (locking clutch) series 055
Locking clutch series 055 is a product that reliably prevents the press ram from falling when replacing molds or performing maintenance on press machines. To prevent the shaft from rotating, fix the shaft to the hub of the locking clutch and remove it from the housing to restrain the shaft. This mechanical ram locking mechanism can lock the ram of the press in just 3 seconds, regardless of its position.
The status of the ram lock mechanism, which is engaged and disengaged by hydraulic actuation, is monitored by a proximity switch and transmitted to the machine control unit. In addition, when used in conjunction with the dry spring actuated hydraulic release multi-disc brake series 172, it guarantees a higher level of safety for servo press machines.
