■High-speed 5-axis processing machining center

This is a product brand of F.Zimmermann GmbH (Germany). We are a long-established machine tool manufacturer founded in 1933 that specializes in large gantry-type high-speed 5-axis machining centers. We have a proven track record of delivering many products to the aerospace and automobile industries in Europe and America (especially model processing machines). In recent years, we have developed a horizontal machining center with revolutionary features for machining large aircraft parts.

■New high-performance solutions for the aerospace industry: FZH

The FZH horizontal machining center is Zimmermann's latest milling solution with German quality, the core technology of which is a sturdy moving column with water cooling. Traditional designs have the disadvantage that as the ram slide protrudes, its weight increases deflection, but FZH's innovative traveling column design solves this problem. With this unique concept, the support dimension between the carriage edges increases as you approach the workpiece. The stepped drive guide ensures stable static accuracy in the Z-axis and guarantees maximum rigidity in the area required for machining. In combination with Zimmermann milling heads with excellent dynamic properties, the FZH enables highly efficient milling processes when machining aluminum and composites. The patented M3ABC 3-axis milling head dramatically increases machining efficiency by maximizing chip removal rate, especially when machining airframe structural parts. FZH is equipped as standard with a pallet handling function (automatic pallet changer) that allows you to set up the next workpiece during processing. The newly developed handling system enables reliable pallet transport and can also be extended to longer pallet lengths without difficulty.
