About This Product

■High-speed 5-axis processing machining center

This is a product brand of F.Zimmermann GmbH (Germany). We are a long-established machine tool manufacturer founded in 1933 that specializes in large gantry-type high-speed 5-axis machining centers. We have a proven track record of delivering many products to the aerospace and automobile industries in Europe and America (especially model processing machines). In recent years, we have developed a horizontal machining center with revolutionary features for machining large aircraft parts.

■Gate type gantry machine (FZ series)

- Has a stroke that can process full-size (1/1) automobile models. ・High-speed feed (60m/min.) with rack and pinion drive allows for significant reduction in machining time compared to conventional machines. ・The fixed sidewall has a special concrete-enclosed structure, which has high rigidity and excellent vibration damping properties. ・Compact and highly rigid 5-axis milling head allows machining with less interference. ・Sophisticated European-style exterior design ・Ceiling cover (optional) prevents chips from scattering outside the machine. ・With a wide variety of variations and combinations of various milling heads, it is possible to handle a wide range of applications, including high-speed machining of aluminum and machining of difficult-to-cut materials such as titanium.

■All-rounder 5-axis machine

The FZ37 gantry machining center has a modular design. Compatible with various machine strokes and different types of CNC equipment. The gantry structure, which moves an overhead portal on a fixed sidewall in the X-axis direction, is capable of machining all types of workpieces mounted on a fixed table. The FZ37 table is firmly fixed to the foundation, so there is no need to move the workpiece during machining. For this reason, precise machining is possible regardless of the weight and size of the workpiece. The machine structure consists of a rigid portal, a cross slide, a Z-axis slide and a dynamic VH20 or VH30 milling head moving body, ensuring efficient and stable milling. This machine combines high stability and rigidity and can meet all the requirements for model making, tool and mold making related to the aerospace industry, automotive industry and other industrial fields. The versatile 5-axis machine FZ37 is also suitable for workpieces in shipbuilding and the alternative energy industry.
