■3-axis CCLD acceleration pickup
The high dynamic range of this 3-axis accelerometer allows it to be used in a wide range of applications, including road and modal testing.
The 3-axis CCLD/IEPE accelerometer series 4529 is the successor to the highly popular 4506 series. Like Model 4506, flexible mounting accessories are available to reduce setup time and allow for precise mounting orientation. The high dynamic range of this 3-axis accelerometer allows it to be used in a wide range of applications, including road and modal testing.
The accelerometer housing has a slot for the use of mounting clips, providing maximum flexibility in installation. The mounting clip can be attached to the test object with adhesive or double-sided adhesive tape. This design allows the accelerometer to be easily mounted on a variety of objects and easily removed, for example during calibration.

The 4529 3-axis accelerometer requires a cable with a 4-pin Microtech connector. Brüel & Kjær offers cables for the Model 4529 with a 4-pin Microtech connector on each end, three 4-pin Microtech to BNC connectors, and three 4-pin Microtech to 10-32UNF connectors for various temperature ranges. Cables are available. There is also a cable, AO-0536, for powering two accelerometers from the D-sub connector.
