The robust pressure sensor P2VA1/P2VA2 is ideal for industrial applications with harsh measurement environments.

■Pressure sensor P2VA1/P2VA2: Accuracy class 0.3

Pressure sensors P2VA1 and P2VA2 can measure pressures up to 5,000 bar with accuracy class 0.3. It uses HBM's high-grade strain gage technology and is ideal for dynamic and static measurement tasks. For example, it can be used in waterjet cutting, high-pressure forming, or isostatic forming. The integrated amplifier allows direct connection to process control equipment without additional measurement electronics. It is corrosion-resistant and has a rugged, one-piece stainless steel measurement body for lasting durability in chemically harsh measurement environments. For example, it is suitable for test bench applications in the petrochemical industry. This pressure sensor is easy to install with TEDS automatic identification. Two types of signal output can be selected, P2VA1 is a voltage output and P2VA2 is a current output, making it easy to integrate with existing measurement systems. This sensor offers a special "live zero" feature. 0 bar pressure is displayed as 0.5V or 4mA. If the control system measures a value lower than this, it is considered an error and the system can be safely shut down. P2VA1 and P2VA2 have eight nominal (rated) pressure options, allowing them to be used in a variety of industrial applications.
