About This Product

The KES7700 Series is a transient surge tester adopting a compact unit-based design. Each pulse unit incorporates a surge generation circuit, conforming to standards such as ISO7637-2, ISO7637-3, ISO16750-2, JASOD001, and SAEJ1113. It also widely supports automakers' proprietary standards. The ISO7637 standard specifies Pulse 1, Pulse 2a, and Pulse 3a/3b, while the ISO16750-2 standard specifies Pulse 5a/5b. Each pulse simulates electromagnetic phenomena generated by electronic devices connected to the wire harness during normal vehicle operation, electromagnetic coupling during switch opening and closing, and load dump surges generated by the alternator when the battery is disconnected, in order to test the immunity of automotive electronic devices. These tests evaluate malfunction and destruction of automotive electronic devices. Features Fully compliant with ISO7637-2.2004, ISO7637-2.2011, ISO7637-3.2007, and ISO16750-2.2010

■Load Dump Suppressor for Pulse 5b Available

・By adopting an amplifier circuit method and a dedicated suppressor, ・waveforms faithful to the standard can be generated not only for Pulse 5a, which is required by the ISO7637 standard, but also for Pulse 5b

■Compact Chassis Achieved with Unit-Based Design

The unit-based design allows surge waveforms to be added easily.

■ Output Terminals Set at the 50mm Height Specified in the ISO7637-2 Standard

Improves test reproducibility

■Two Types of CDN Available: 60V/50A and 60V/100A

A CDN rated up to 100A is built into the mainframe, enabling large-capacity testing in a single chassis without using an external CDN Dedicated software (Japanese language supported) enables test condition setting and tester control

■ JASO D001-94 Pulse Unit Available
