About This Product

The VIDAR 16 is the original and finest crimping tool with self-adjusting dies for producing a square crimp profile on wire ferrules 6.0 - 16.0 mm2/AWG 10 - 6 (in accordance with DIN 46228 Part 4 or UL 486F). The distinguishing feature of VIDAR tools is that they produce a very clean, square crimp that is well compressed and shows almost no distortion along the length of the crimped ferrule. The VIDAR 16 has an adjustment feature for crimping larger sizes, minimizing the hand force required to crimp large ferrules.
