About This Product

The OsteoLyse™ Assay Kit is a reagent that allows quantitative and easy in vitro high-throughput measurement of bone resorption performed by osteoclasts. The kit includes a 96-well cell culture plate coated with europium-labeled human type I collagen and a fluorescent dye release agent. Osteoclasts can be seeded onto OsteoLyse™ plates using conventional cell culture protocols. This assay directly measures europium-labeled collagen fragments (bone resorption activity) released into the osteoclast culture supernatant by time-resolved fluorescence.

Convenient – ​​Human collagen is bound to the wells within the plate, so there is no need to purchase bone matrix separately Easy to use – cells can be seeded onto the surface of OsteoLyse™ plates using conventional cell culture protocols ・Homogeneous – bone resorption activity can be easily measured by sampling cell culture supernatant using time-resolved fluorescence
