Tandem has always offered high-performance two-jaw clamping blocks in its product range. SCHUNK has added a powerful 3-jaw variation to its huge modular system with the KRP3. These clamping blocks can grip cylindrical workpieces while suppressing deformation without using special chuck jaws, and improve force distribution, making them a compact gripping device that can replace conventional gripping devices.

・Compared to other clamping devices, the major advantages of this compact clamping device include increased clamping force due to external gripping, position monitoring of the base jaws with patented dynamic pressure, or possibility of air control with claws. This is a variation of additional equipment. It's also worth noting that we've made the most common designs compatible, allowing you to replace existing KSP3 devices with KRP3 devices on a 1:1 basis.
