About This Product

3rd generation pneumatically actuated 2-jaw clamping block in a compact design with high gripping forces and new technical highlights. Clamping blocks are available with standard stroke, long stroke or fixed jaws.

TANDEM KSP3 stands for Strong Pneumatically Operated Clamping Block and has a very wide range of applications whenever pneumatics are available on the machine. Monitoring during external diameter clamping with an integrated spring assembly (patented), monitoring of the base jaw position with dynamic pressure (patented) or the possibility of air control via the jaws are additions included in the new generation These are just three examples of features. These are trendsetters, especially when it comes to automation.

An important aspect of future developments will be compatibility, so that existing KSP plus vices can be replaced 1:1 by the new KSP3 vices. The proven geometry allows optimal access of the machine spindle to the workpiece. As standard, vises can also be designed with inductive jaw monitoring.
