About This Product

Swiss-made centering bar Zentrofix. Instantly measures the reference position for milling with ultra-high accuracy of 1-2/1,000mm.

■Features

・It is effective for measuring from the end face of the X-axis and Y-axis, measuring the origin of the X-axis and Y-axis, and measuring the centering of holes. ・Ultra-high precision reference position of 1-2/1000mm can be obtained with one-touch measurement, resulting in outstanding reliability. ・Economical with no failures at the start of processing and no worries about defective products or yields. -Easy to install, no markings, dials or gauges required, reducing centering time.

■How to use

1. While rotating the Zentrofix at a speed of 450-600 rpm, tap the lower ring lightly with your fingertip to make it eccentric. 　 2. When the workpiece is gradually brought closer to the eccentrically rotating Zentrofix, the runout disappears and the contact point becomes as if it were stationary. 　 3.Furthermore, when the workpiece is brought closer by fine-feeding, the probe starts to slide along the end surface. 　 4. This position where the slide starts is the reference position that can be obtained with high accuracy of 1-2/1,000mm. 　 5.The actual machining reference position is obtained by subtracting the radius of the probe used from this reference position. 　 6.Repeat this operation 2 to 3 times to obtain a more accurate reference position.
