About This Product

■Product OverviewRefrigeration oil is exposed to high temperatures at the refrigerant gas discharge section and, conversely, to extremely low temperatures in the evaporator, so it must be usable over a wide temperature range. It also comes into contact with refrigerant gases such as ammonia and fluorocarbons and therefore requires properties not demanded of ordinary lubricants. Refoil NS is manufactured by selecting the optimal naphthenic crude oil to meet these severe requirements and refining it to a high degree, and is available in two grades: 3GS and 4GS.

Features
■Excellent Thermal StabilityRefoil NS contains almost no thermally unstable components, so it forms no sludge even when used at high oil temperatures and leaves almost no carbon deposits on heaters. It does not form hard carbon deposits even when exposed to conditions where the oil forms a high-temperature thin film, such as at the discharge valve.

■Good Chemical StabilityRefoil NS is highly refined and contains no components that readily form sludge, so it resists chemical reaction with the refrigerant and with other substances present in the system.

■Excellent Low-Temperature PerformanceRefoil NS is highly refined and can be used in refrigeration machines prone to sludge formation. It prevents the separation of floc-like substances in low-temperature sections of the system. Refoil NS is dehydrated as far as possible before being filled into dedicated containers and shipped, so its water content is extremely low and it has high dielectric strength.

■Maintains an Appropriate ViscosityIt maintains an appropriate viscosity even during high-temperature operation, preventing compressor wear, and it also has sufficient fluidity at low temperatures, forming an adequate oil film at all times.

■TypesRefoil NS is available in two grades: 3GS and 4GS.

■Applications・Lubrication of various refrigeration compressors for freezing, refrigeration, ice making, air conditioning, and similar uses
・Lubrication of hermetic refrigeration compressors in electric refrigerators, room coolers, packaged air conditioners, and the like
・Hydraulic fluid for hydraulic equipment used in low-temperature environments
・Lubricant for general machinery used at low temperatures
・Oil for air filters
