About This Product

■Product Overview

VP Super is a vacuum pump oil dedicated to oil-sealed rotary pumps for high vacuum, based on a highly refined base oil. With low vapor pressure and excellent water separability, it draws out the full capability of oil-sealed (rotary) pumps. Features

■Draws Out the Full Capability of the Pump

If the vapor pressure of a vacuum pump oil is high, light fractions evaporate, interfering with the vacuum and contaminating the vacuum equipment. Conventional general-purpose oils have a wide boiling range and contain light fractions, so the vapor pressure of the oil is high, which has been a problem. VP Super is based on a highly refined base oil and contains no light fractions, so its vapor pressure is low and a high ultimate vacuum can be obtained up to the limit of the pump's capability.

■Excellent Water Separability

When air is exhausted, the exhaust contains water vapor, which can condense as liquid water inside the equipment. Because VP Super has outstanding water separability, draining can be carried out easily even if water enters the equipment.

■Excellent Lubricity

VP Super has excellent lubricity and protects the rotary pump from wear.
