About This Product

■Product Overview

Super Highland P46 is a premium anti-wear hydraulic fluid classified as a flammable liquid with a flash point of 250°C or higher, in line with the 2002 revision of the Fire Service Act (hazardous materials). Super Highland P46 is a premium anti-wear hydraulic fluid suited to a wide range of hydraulic pumps and motors from low to high pressure. When used in high-pressure pumps, Super Highland P46 delivers not only excellent anti-wear performance but also anti-seizure performance that withstands shock loads. Super Highland P46 uses additives that perform fully even under high-temperature conditions, making it an anti-wear hydraulic fluid that combines heat resistance with oxidation stability. Features

■Flash Point of 250°C or Higher

Super Highland P46 has a flash point of 250°C or higher and is classified as a flammable liquid.

■Excellent Lubricity

Thanks to its outstanding anti-wear performance, Super Highland P46 prevents wear of hydraulic pumps and valves in today's high-pressure, high-performance hydraulic equipment, allowing it to deliver its full performance.

■High Viscosity Index and Low Pour Point

Because Super Highland P46 has a high viscosity index, viscosity changes little with temperature, giving consistently smooth operation over a wide temperature range.

■Excellent Rust Prevention

Thanks to its outstanding rust-preventive performance, Super Highland P46 keeps rust from forming inside the hydraulic system.

■Excellent Oxidation Stability and Thermal Stability

Super Highland P46 has excellent oxidation stability and thermal stability, so it withstands prolonged use and maintains its various performance characteristics.

■Excellent Shear Stability

Super Highland P46 has outstanding shear stability, so viscosity hardly drops at all even after prolonged use.

■Precautions for Handling Flammable Liquids

・When hazardous materials and flammable liquids are stored together in an indoor or outdoor storage facility, as a rule each must be grouped separately and stored at least 1 m apart. ・Flammable liquids in quantities of 2 cubic meters (2,000 liters) or more are treated as "designated combustible materials" and are subject to municipal ordinances.

■Applications

Can be used in all types of hydraulic machinery from low to high pressure, including forging and press machines, metalworking machines, injection molding machines, extruders, machine tools, construction machinery, marine deck machinery, cargo handling machinery and mining machinery.
