About This Product

■Product Overview

・The Super Highland SE Series are hydraulic fluids suited to a wide range of hydraulic pumps and motors, developed in pursuit of long life and energy savings. ・Offering very high energy efficiency, they are hydraulic fluids suited to a wide range of hydraulic pumps and motors from low to high pressure. ・They deliver excellent anti-wear and anti-seizure performance, improving work efficiency. ・A long-life type that resists sludge formation. ・Flammable liquid grades SE-P32, 46 and 68 are also available. Features

■Excellent Energy Efficiency

By blending in a friction modifier, the Super Highland SE Series reduces frictional resistance in hydraulic pumps, valves and actuators, lowering the power consumption of the hydraulic system.

■Excellent Oxidation Stability and Thermal Stability

By using a highly refined base oil and a new type of ashless additive, sludge formation is extremely low and the oil withstands prolonged use under high temperature and high pressure, extending oil change intervals.

■Excellent Lubricity

Its outstanding anti-wear performance prevents wear of hydraulic pumps and valves, allowing today's high-pressure, high-performance hydraulic equipment to deliver its full potential.

■High Viscosity Index and Low Pour Point

Viscosity changes little with temperature, maintaining a consistently smooth operating environment over a wide temperature range.

■Excellent Shear Stability

Viscosity hardly drops at all even after prolonged use.

■Flammable Liquid Grades Also Available

In response to the June 2002 revision of the Fire Service Act, SE-P32, 46 and 68 are offered, classified as flammable liquids with a flash point of 250°C or higher.

■Types

The appropriate viscosity of hydraulic fluid for hydraulic equipment varies with the type of hydraulic pump and the operating conditions. Please select a fluid with the viscosity specified by the hydraulic pump manufacturer. Super Highland SE is available in five grades ranging from low to high viscosity, so you can choose the viscosity that suits your operating conditions.

■Applications

Can be used in all types of hydraulic machinery from low to high pressure, including forging and press machines, metalworking machines, injection molding machines, extruders, machine tools, construction machinery, marine deck machinery, cargo handling machinery and mining machinery.
