About This Product

■Summary

Markforged's carbon fiber 3D printer is the world's first commercial 3D printer that can incorporate carbon into the core material. It has the same strength and weight as aluminum, yet has the convenience of an FDM printer, and does not require a special printing environment. In addition, Markforged carbon fiber 3D printers can print with various types of long fibers, including continuous carbon fiber, allowing you to freely change the strength, elasticity, weight, and cost of the model. Furthermore, by using long fibers and nylon filament ``ONYX'' containing microcarbon, a matte black model with a beautiful finish is created while maintaining strength. Using a modeling method that does not easily deform, it enables high-precision, beautiful modeling at low cost. ``Strength comparable to metal,'' ``lightweight by utilizing carbon,'' and ``high-precision molded objects'' make it possible to ``print and use as is for jigs and final products'', leading to innovations in manufacturing that are lighter, shorter in time, and lower in cost. ■It is as strong as metal but lightweight, and the installation cost is 1/100 of that of a metal printer.

By using long fibers, we can print with strength and lightness that was not possible with conventional FDM printers. Furthermore, by taking advantage of the ease of FDM and making it possible to print without the need for special printing equipment, we have achieved an extremely low cost. It can be easily modeled in a design room or conference room.

■High-precision, high-definition, resistant to warping and thermal deformation, beautiful design

Markforged printers are capable of producing high-precision, high-definition modeling among 3D printers in the same price range. Even if you temporarily stop printing, remove the print bed from the 3D printer, add parts, and then return the print bed to its original position, it is possible to resume printing with high accuracy.

■Various long fibers expand the possibilities of molded objects

By modeling with various long fibers and microcarbon-containing nylon filament "ONYX", you can freely change the strength, rigidity, weight, cost, etc.

■You can freely designate the shape using the included slicing software Eiger.

The included software Eiger allows for easy settings such as changing the fiber direction and material for each part, without placing any operational burden on the user.
