About This Product

■Summary

The piston moves to the end of the cylinder, minimizing dead volume. You can also set the breathing rate from 18 to 150/min, and the digital LED displays the breathing rate. Volume and breathing rate can be changed at any time during movement. The respirator has four in and out gas ports: gas in, gas out (to the animal), gas return (from the animal) and exhaust. The respirator exhaust can be connected to a water column to maintain PEEP (positive end-expiratory pressure) when extended ventilation is required. We offer overhaul kits that match the type of cylinder you use. Kit includes manual and spare parts.

■Features

・PEEP monitor function - By adopting a new tube connector, tubes of various sizes can be easily connected. ・The scale is engraved on the cylinder and will never disappear. - Volume and breathing rate control are now linear.

■Model 683 Small Animal Respirator

The Model 683 small animal respirator comes with two types of cylinders. The volume of the smaller cylinder is 0.5-5.0ml (in 0.5ml increments), and the larger cylinder is 3.0-30ml (in 0.3ml increments). By setting the cylinder stroke, you can finely set the volume steplessly.
