About This Product

"Suppon MD joint" is a joint with excellent earthquake resistance. The elastic turtle top ring absorbs earthquake energy and exerts the effect of reducing the stress and distortion applied to the joint. The construction is easy because the joint pipe can be pulled out without resistance without disassembly.

・ At the time of an earthquake, tensile and compressed force acts on the fitting of the straight tube. Absorb the tube strain caused by large ground displacement due to the elasticity of the turtle MD stop ring.
・ The tensile force does not work only for the rotation force of the curved pipe part. For this reason, a turning prevention performance for water pressure and a turningless turning moment is the best way to absorb the bending moment.

■ Construction and recovery・ You can pull the joint pipe without resistance without disassembling the joint.
・ The number of tightening bolts can be reduced and the construction time can be reduced. (DCIP)
・ Because it is a double -piped structure, it can be connected by cutting tube. (DCIP)
・ The tube and joint can be separated simply by loosening the bolt nut without disassembling, making it easier to rebuild.
・ Supon MD core packing can be restored after construction and can be easily removed.

■ Packing・ The turtle MD packing (patent) has achieved watertails of 4MPa or more with low torque (20N / m), which is significantly below the standard tightening torque, even in tubes with large tolerance.
-The packing convex portion is compressed on the receiving taper and pipe surface, and the gap is rolled in a ring, so the packing is reduced on average with a light tightening force and is effectively compressed. Therefore, it realizes excellent watertightness without a slide.
・ As the MD stop ring becomes independent with the pushing ring, the withdrawal does not act on the pushing ring and does not inhibit the water dust.
