About This Product

Thermiculite #866, developed and patented by Flexitaric Ltd. in the UK, is a SOFC (solid oxide fuel cell) gasket made from vermiculite (vermiculite) as the main raw material and molded with an inorganic binder. This gasket material has a heat resistance of 1,000℃ and has excellent sealing properties, and will not oxidize even in high-temperature oxidizing atmospheres. In addition, since it is entirely composed of inorganic materials, there is no outgassing during high-temperature operation, and it has heat-resistant stability that can withstand deformation due to thermal expansion differences and stress, allowing for stable sealing.

■Features

・Thermiculite #866 was developed for use in solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC). ・The main raw material, vermiculite, has excellent sealing properties. - Thermiculite #866, which has excellent chemical and physical properties, has a heat resistance of 1,000℃ and does not contain organic materials, so volatile components will not burn even at SOFC operating temperatures.
