About This Product

■Summary

The MA734 is a MagAlpha digital angle sensor that detects the absolute angular position of a permanent magnet (usually a diametrically magnetized cylinder on a rotating shaft). High-speed data acquisition and processing enables accurate angle measurements, from static angle measurements to high-speed rotation. Digital filtering is adjustable to optimize control loop performance when used in servo motor applications. MA780 supports a wide range of magnetic field strengths and spatial configurations. Both end-of-shaft and off-axis (side-shaft mounting) configurations are supported. The MA734 detects magnetic field strength and includes configurable thresholds that can be used for push-button human-machine interface (HMI) applications or diagnostic purposes. On-chip nonvolatile memory (NVM) provides storage for configuration parameters such as reference zero angle and magnetic field detection threshold. You can also configure the MA734 using volatile registers without accessing NVM. The MP2615C comes in a QFN-16 (3mm x 3mm) package.
