About This Product

■Summary

The MA735 detects the absolute angular position of a permanent magnet (usually a diametrically magnetized cylinder on a rotating shaft). Its ultra-small UTQFN package is an ideal solution for space-constrained applications. High-speed data acquisition and processing allows accurate angle measurements at speeds between 0 rpm and 60,000 rpm. Digital filtering is adjustable to optimize control loop performance when used in servo applications. The MA735 is compatible with a wide range of magnetic field strengths and spatial configurations. Available in both end-of-shaft and off-axis (side-shaft mounted) configurations. The MA735 features magnetic field strength detection with a configurable threshold to detect the position of the magnet relative to the sensor to enable functions such as axial motion detection and diagnostics. On-chip non-volatile memory (NVM) provides storage for configuration parameters such as reference zero angle position, ABZ encoder settings, and magnetic field detection thresholds. The MA735 is available in a UTQFN-14 (2mm x 2mm) package.
