About This Product

■Summary

The MA600 is an accurate high bandwidth magnetic angle sensor that detects the absolute angular position of permanent magnets, typically diametrically magnetized cylinders on rotating shafts. By integrating a precision tunnel magnetoresistive (TMR) sensor, the MA600 delivers high bandwidth and high accuracy (INL), making it the perfect solution for position control and robotics. MA600 is compatible with a wide range of magnetic field strengths and spatial configurations. End-of-shaft (end-of-shaft) and side-shaft (off-axis) mounting configurations are supported. On-chip non-volatile memory (NVM) provides storage for configuration parameters such as reference zero angle position, ABZ/UVW/PWM settings. The MA600 is factory calibrated to provide less than 0.6° error (INL) over the operating temperature range. Additionally, final system calibration is available through a 32-point user-configurable correction table. The resulting error (INL) after user calibration can be less than 0.1°. Communication with the MA600 can be done via Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) and Synchronous Serial Interface (SSI). The MA600 is available in a small QFN-16 (3mm x 3mm) package.
