About This Product

■Summary

When PAR (400-700nm) and NIR (700-1,000nm) are reflected and absorbed by chlorophyll within a leaf, the ratio of the transmitted light has a correlation with LAI.In other words, we adopted a spectroscopic measurement method (Patent No. JP5410323B22014.2.5). It is possible to stably measure photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) absorption rate by LAI and canopy leaves regardless of the weather, and it is possible to obtain continuous data simply by installing this device inside the canopy, without installing a target sensor outside the canopy. By installing this device together with a data logger, annual changes in LAI can be measured unattended, and if you use a portable type, you can carry it around and measure over a wide area.
