The electric heat block is attached to a valve block, a measurement device, an adjustment valve, etc., and heats these devices by thermal conduction.
The frost -proof or temperature maintenance of SL BlockTherm for 24V is simple, reliable and economical. Use a variety of adapter plates to guarantee the optimal heating of various devices as needed.
These heaters are directly attached to the component, so the appropriate operating temperature is guaranteed. Conductor heaters are more effective than convection heaters due to direct heat transmission without through intermediate media such as air. Since heat energy is directly transmitted to the heated unit, the environmental rise is much less.
Therefore, other components may need to be equipped with additional conductors.
Conductive heating can be much less energy than convection heating using fins. The thermal conduction through metal is more efficient than the heat of the air. Air heating heats all components, including parts that do not require heating. This thermal energy does not need to be generated by conduction. In addition, air functions as some insulation. This means that the heating process is slightly delayed.
The heating block is very suitable for heating individual components. However, it is a condition that there is at least one flat surface that can attach a heater.
Conductor heaters include PTC (positive temperature coefficient) elements of self -restricted heaters. As the temperature rises, the electric resistance increases and the heating power decreases. Since the heating power is very low at high temperatures, it cannot exceed the limit temperature of each temperature class.
Conductor heaters are heated by PTC cartridge and are directly attached to heated devices.
The EX type of these heaters is equipped with ground blocks.
