About This Product

The MULTI GEAR series meets the "GL-5" performance standard, the current latest standard required by major automakers (*a GL-4 grade is also available). It is a high-performance gear oil that can be used in manual transmissions and differentials (differential gears).

■Features of the MULTIGEAR SeriesThe MULTIGEAR series, TAKUMI Motor Oil's gear oil lineup, meets the "GL-5" performance standard, the current latest standard required by major automakers. Research based on feedback from the racing world also led to the development of a proprietary new anti-wear additive.

As an extra performance characteristic of this proprietary formulation, it powerfully protects metal gear surfaces and prevents seizure even in harsh environments (extreme-pressure environments) involving high temperature with low torque, low speed with high torque, and repeated high-speed impact loads.

MULTIGEAR 75W-90 and 80W-90 GL-5 support not only manual transmissions but also LSDs, covering a wide range of vehicles whether FR, FF or 4WD. (GL-4 is not supported.) The higher-grade RACINGGEAR series is developed for even harsher, serious circuit driving. It, too, supports manual transmissions and LSDs.
